It looks like we're gonna have to fill Wendy in on a few things so she doesn't know quite yet!

Whew, this makes me quite happy. Nothing is more tedious to me than stories that rely on really foolish miscommunications to make plot arcs happen (looking at you, anything by Giselle L). It was funny back in the sitcom storms of the '90s, but by now, I'm all about stories with open communication. I guess that's why I love comics about poly people/communities, heh.

I know what you mean! Ironically enough, that's what eventually had me fall out of love from anything from Giselle L. Having a misunderstanding every now and then can be entertaining, but it can't be the crux of EVERY, SINGLE, PLOTLINE. I think the exception to the rule is the old show Three's Company but even then the trope could get really tiring sometimes. I pride myself in making sure we grow beyond tropes like that. It's one of the big reasons I ultimately decided on John, Iris, and Sebastian eventually getting into a poly relationship. I didn't want to repeat the old Archie dynamic of Archie, Betty and Veronica.
